Phoenix Design System is headquartered in Payson, Arizona. Founded in 2007, our company provides leading edge software solutions for library creation and management across multiple EDA platforms. Our advanced technology provides a single-tool solution that integrates symbol generation, PCB footprint generation, and library management for Cadence, Intercept, and Mentor Graphics flows. Our team is staffed by engineers with decades of experience developing library, schematic, and PCB layout translators and interfaces. Our team has expert background in creating enterprise-level information systems using Oracle, Sybase, and MySQL, and has developed integrations with Component Information Systems and Product Data Management Systems.

The Library Challenge
The evolution of EDA platforms has left most companies with a heterogeneous mix of tools and libraries to support in the years forward. Each platform requires multiple library products to manage symbols, PCB footprints, and part information. Consolidating multi-vendor libraries into one database has been impossible; synchronizing changes across libraries has been a constant challenge. Using one tool to manage such an environment has been the goal yet to be achieved.
